Collective Collage Exhibition in Mexico City

The Mexican Society of Collagists (SMC) in collaboration with Cafesino, will hold a collective exhibition as part of the celebrations for Art Week in Mexico City. More than 40 artists, such as Tavio Collage, Antonio Frappa, Pretzell Cervantes, and Daniela Triza, will showcase their works at this event scheduled for February 6, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Cafesino, located at Calle Toledo 46.

The exhibition aims to highlight the richness and diversity of collage, an artistic technique that has gained relevance in recent years. SMC seeks to promote Mexican collage internationally, strengthen the network of artists in Mexico, and establish alliances with creators from other parts of the world, thus fostering the constant evolution of this artistic discipline.

Cafesino, a recognized emerging art space in Mexico City, positions itself as a meeting point for artists, creators, and lovers of contemporary art. With this collaboration, it reaffirms its commitment to support and disseminate artistic talent with operating hours from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

The inauguration of the exhibition promises to be an enriching experience that will combine artistic pieces with music, video art, and a vibrant atmosphere. Attendees can enjoy live music by @minidisastro, video art installations, a graphic work collage exhibition, and meet the artists. The exhibition will be open to the public from February 6 to 22, 2025, offering the chance to explore the works and purchase original pieces and exclusive prints.
